Cartooning & Anime Drawing – Ages 10-13

Want to learn to draw their favorite characters? Or maybe make characters of their own? This course may be just what you are looking for! Designed with beginners in mind, this drawing course is perfect for ages 10-13 years old. The teaching process used is a kid-tested, step-by-step method that will both inspire and delight your child into drawing action! Young artists may then apply the knowledge they gain through each lesson to create unique masterpieces of their own. Curriculum is designed to give the tools they need to begin their artistic journey into self-expression, reflection, and creative thinking.
Meeting Tuesday July 16-Friday July 19 from 1-3pm.
Learn about animators and the techniques that they use, and then put them to use to make your own characters come to life.
Lessons will cover both male, female, and creature characters:
- Facial features
- Head from different views
- Hair with various hairstyles
- Hands and feet
- Body and poses
- Clothes and shoes
- Facial Expressions
- General drawing advices and tips
Miss Collette is the teacher for this awesome class. With a sweet spirit, and a passion for drawing, she will make this class so enjoyable that you won’t know you’re learning!
Good Notes to note: Get ready for an AWESOME and super-creative summer!! All summer camps do require pre-registration online or in-store (270-201-2474). Any changes or cancelations must be arranged no less than 2 weeks prior to the first class of your camp (minus a $25 processing fee), as materials and supplies will be purchased especially for your amazing student at that time. There are no refunds after the two week period, but for classes cancelled 2weeks-48 hours prior to camp start, a credit (minus processing fee) can be issued for another class or open studio within six months of the cancelation. registrations cancelled 48 hours or less to camp start are non refundable nor applicable for credit.
