MAKE is a fun art studio using raw materials to create paintings, artworks and home decor for anyone interested in creating! Most of our guests have no painting experience and all of them have great success!I We also have a boutique to shop locally handmade and ready to buy gifts!
How does this work?
We have there options to enjoy at MAKE: Open Studio, Workshops/Classes & Parties.
WORKSHOPS/CLASSES: We have an Event Calendar that displays the specific workshops and classes and their date and time. If you see an event you like and it’s scheduled on a day you can attend you can go ahead and make a reservation online or call the studio during office hours to reserve by phone (270-201-2474). The artist instructor will guide the whole class through the workshop. Bring your drinks and snacks to enjoy during class if you would like.
Party Packages: Packages come with specified materials, a MAKE team artist to guide your event and are specially priced for a specific number, depending on type of event. To reserve a private party package, a 50% deposit is required.
Open Studio Private Parties: One of our most popular choices, these are open studio events scheduled for after hours. Kindly note that a minimum of 8 guests are required for reservation, as well as a $50 deposit to be applied to creating the night of the event. If fewer than 8 guests arrived there will be a $24 fee assessed for each empty seat to be paid by the hostess. As an alternative, the group may decides to make an extra project(s), at $24 minimum per extra project.

Can I just paint whatever project I want in the studio?
YES! If you find a special surface that suits your need, then go for it! Workshops and Classes will be instructed with specific surfaces, so while we encourage crazy creativity, you will need to stick with materials provided during classes.
How do I book a private party?
Call us during office hours to check availability for the date you want. We will need a deposit to reserve a party date and time for you. Please see Party Info page for further details. Please note, we are closed on Mondays, so some weekend calls may not be returned until Tuesday.
How do I sign up a group to attend an open studio during open hours? OR can I stop in anytime and paint?
Call us to ensure open times, and we will schedule your table. No minimum during open hours (1-40!)
Do I have to make a reservation? Can I just walk in?
If you want to guarantee a seat for yourself, you have to make a reservation. Many classes will sell out. Also, if there are not any reservations for a class, we may cancel the class or switch the painting. We set up a painting station for each person. Please make a reservation so we can set up for you and have you seated appropriately with your group if you are joining one.
When will you be doing (insert event) again?
We try to provide a combination of old favorites and new experiences on each calendar. If there is a painting your really want to see on the next calendar, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we might be able to accommodate your request. We love to hear what your requests are.
Can I bring something to drink other than wine? What kind of food/snacks can I bring?
Sure! You can bring any alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage to enjoy during class. You can bring any food or snacks. Some common snacks people bring in are cheese and crackers, chips and dip, fruit tray, veggie tray, chocolate, cookies etc. You can even order pizza, we don’t mind!
Can kids come to class and studio too?
We are very family friendly! Kids of all ages are welcome to open studio, we even have as young as a few weeks old doing handprints!! We do private parties for kids, such as a birthday party, as well as adult parties. See Party Info for more details on that. Some of our workshops & classes are intended to be an adult getaway to relax and have time to themselves or socialize with their friends, so please be mindful of that.
Will my painting be dry at the end of the night?
Yes, if there are a few damp places we have hair dryers which will dry them quickly.
What do you provide?
We provide everything that is needed to paint your project on our art bar: paint, brushes, stencils, cutting papers, punches, sponges, modgepodge, glitter, aprons, and soooo much more!…)
and we also provide a wine opener
What do I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable and you don’t mind if a little paint gets on it. We do supply aprons, but if you by chance get paint on your clothes and it dries, it will not come out. If you catch it while it’s still wet you can usually get it out with some soap and water.
What is your refund policy?
“No shows” will not be issued a store credit or refunds. Pre-paid farmhouse signs and home decor are prepped to order, so no refunds if you cannot attend the event. Your project will be shelved for you to MAKE on your own time or a future event, or pick up to MAKE at home. Please email or leave a message if calling after hours. email@example.com. How do I cancel a workshop reservation?
To cancel your reservtaion please email us or call. (270-201-2474, firstname.lastname@example.org) If we do not answer the phone please leave a message and also email us. We have a 7 day cancellation policy so as long as you let us know at least 7 days in advance of the class time you are eligible for a refund. No shows without a notice of cancelling will not recieve a refund. If a workshop or event is canceled due to weather, the workshop will be rescheduled if possible. We will do our best to accommodate all rescheduling for all attendees, and workshops will be scheduled with majority requests. If you cannot attend a workshop held as scheduled or rescheduled, you may personally offer/sell your seat to someone else. There will not be refunds for classes held as scheduled, or rescheduled.
MAKE reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified at least 24 hours prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
