Fine Art Painting Studio: Exploring Cultures – CLOSED

Tuesday July 11-Friday July 14 10am-2pm (bring sack lunch and a drink)

This week is full of creative fun! Ages 8-12 will explore Painting techniques from around the world, how and where and why they are used.

This is a creative class for students to learn to tell their own art story through various mediums and techniques.

Play with color, discover fun creative painting techniques & much more in this awesome class. Learn about and be inspired by the coolest cultural artists and go crazy with creativity!

Explore, Paint, Learn, MAKE!!

 

Don’t forget your sack lunch and drink- You will be moving and going the entire class with so much to do, you will want the energy!!

Course fee: $95 (2017 Yeiser Art Center members receive a discounted rate of $80. To reserve your class at this rate, come in-store or call 270-201-2474)

Claudia Hawkins will be the teaching artist for this course. Her many years of teaching experience, cool creativity and high energy make for a fabulously fun learning environment!

We will be using process and techniques based on Masters, Classical learning and multiple media discovery. Our mixed media (multi-arts) creating is skill-building and project- based learning that exposes children to drawing, painting, assemblage, and 3-d design with a focus on multiculturalism and world art. Students are invited to sign up for multiple weeks. Projects and skill sets vary week to week.
